We got to the Bonneville Salt Flats just before sunrise, well actually over an hour before sunrise thanks to forgetting about the time change. Apple Weather apparently forgot about it too which meant we got there very early and ended up sitting in the car until it got light out. Once it was light we drove out onto the salt and hit the gas!

For thrill-seekers, pushing the pedal to hit 100mph—or more—on this natural speedway is an experience like no other. The salt surface provides a near-perfect driving condition that’s hard to find anywhere else in the world.
